Default Cobra-like replica on Fleabay?

It has a tilt front, SBC/700r4 and crank up windows.

What is this abomination?

Inside looks like an 80’s vintage dash with AC vents etc. Looking at the windshield frame etc. I’d guess it’s entirely another car with some Cobra style fiberglass body parts. Engine looks like a ZZ4 crate. Maybe a reconstructed Buick Reatta although those were 6 cyl fwd cars. As they say in the car business there’s an #$$ for every seat. Somebody will buy it.

Hell that thing is not half bad looking compared to the mid 70's Corvette that runs around here with a Cobra front end grafted to it.

I don't know what it started out life as, but it should go back there.

I'm pretty sure that the platform is C4 Corvette.(84-96) There was a company that was selling Cobra like body kits for the C4.

It's a Goben Cobra, built in Madison WI and based on a Chevy Cavalier.

That dash looked familiar, but I couldn't place it. Now it makes sense - at least from where the dash came from. The rest of it, OTOH...

The way the engine compartment looked and tilt forward front end, I was thinking Pontiac Solstice or Satern SKY version of it. The dash I had no clue. What year Cavalier did they use?

Had to go back and look again. The picture with the top sure makes the doors quarters and roof really short and chunky. The more I look, the more I think why someone would do all that work to develop a kit to look like that?

They did not know what it would look like until it was finished. A lot of work to build and what a bag of potatoes it is.
