That was predictable...
Two things that trigger mrmustang - revival of an old thread regardless of the reason and ANYTHING posted by Historybuff, regardless of its merit or level of interest to members of this forum. I actually resisted posting a 3..2..1 countdown to snarky response from Bill as soon as I saw the post! 
I for one do not frequent the SAAC forum and I'm intrigued by the rebodied Cobra one-offs so I'm appreciative of the post. Keep the info coming - and post some pics if you can. One of the Italian-bodied variants (can't think of which one though) is really beautiful and may have represented a possible evolution of the Cobra into a more modern, true GT car.
