My Backdraft RT4B arrived and the RAM Hydraulic Bearing line fittings don't seem to want to thread onto the line plumbed onto the firewall for the bearing. Is it possible the RAM fittings are standard and the hydraulic line plumbed by BD has a metric fitting? If so, does anyone know the size/sizes of the adapter I would use to make the set up work?
A wild guess - if it originated in South Africa it is very likely to be metric as any Imperial/American standard threaded items are almost impossible to get in SA. Best bet is to ask Backdraft.
Morning, please give us a call at BackDraft Parts and Service @ 5613274944. The clutch line fitting on the car is a m10x1.0 bubble flare. We offer the fitting that adapts to the RAM line if you're interested. The RAM bearing has a 3 AN hose.
