couple more questions about CSX 4150
Anyone know who makes the shocks on these car? They are blue and gold in color. Seems all 4 are leaking to some degree. Are they rebuildable?
also when moving the car I get a mild clicking or chatter out of the rear wheels when turning even slightly. Is this normal?
Customer says the 4 speed jumps out of second occasionally. Is there a fix for this? Doesn't seem to be a boot problem or any other shifter interference.
Thanks Mike

Mike,
Do you have a locker rear end? If you do than the chatter would be normal when turning, especially at a slow speed.

I agree with Ron on the locker.
On the tranny, either pour some Bud Light in it or send it to Kees'.

I was curious about any replies to this question of Mike's, too. Anybody know the answer?

Afco shocks are usually blue. I don't recall any gold, though.

I believe the early CSX4000 had Multimatic shocks.
