Default 427 S/C At Monza 1966

As many of you know, when filming the 1966 movie Grand Prix, a GT40 was used for a camera car, what most don't know, and count me as one, CSX3014 an actual S/C was also used as a camera car. The top photo shows it leading James Garner in the only actual F1 car in the movie, on the high bank of Monza. In the second photo, we can see a better photo of the roll bar, with Phil Hill at the wheel, the young man is Paul-Henri Cahier, a future very accomplished race photographer. He obviously did not enjoy the ride! I wonder how many weeks it took to get rid of that smile? Cheers, Dennis

Yes, plus it appears to have a welded on hood scope! Those were only done by AC on cars for the rest of the world, U.S. cars had a hole that was covered at Shelby's shop with the famous riveted scope! Cheers, Dennis

I had seen this photo before and corrected it to the vertical poles on the scaffolding but am having problems posting it.
The bank is not as great as it appears in the above photo.
