Default Hard top hoist (superformance)

Hello,

Have any of you found a cheap hars top hoist that works reasonably well?

I more want one for storage vs having to hoist the thing up. Something pretty secure to hold it up and out of the way in the garage.

I see miata hard top hoists pretty cheap, and BMW coupe hoists for a bit more.

Thanks!

-Dave

I lift my FFR body to the garage ceiling. Using lifts from the Plant Grow Industry. These are good for about 100#. Probably a lot cheaper than something from an auto specific supplier. These work well, no issues.

Sorry, I don't remember where I got them but Amazon would be a good place to look.

One of my physics professors in the early 70s had a 190SL with a hard top and used something like that for his hard top.

He sold it to not me

I got one of these for a dump 4 wheel wheelbarrow, to get it out of the way in my small garage. Works really good! Cheers, Dennis https://www.amazon.com/1003-Kayak-Ho...IcRvD_BwE&th=1
