Who has built a Street Version?

I too began conveting my NAF last fall to a Street vesion . The first order of business was a ss under car exhaust (see my reply to southernfriedcj's posting) . I have glassed over the hood scoop , removed the roll bar and glassed over the holes , glassed over the sidepipe openings and glassed over the competition fuel filler hole (which was't even close to being in the "original" location) replaceing it with a locking street cap from Europa Spares.
The car is now in for paint (65 Rangoon Red) - no stripes. Should be done end of May.
Next is to convert the dash to a street dash with glove compartment. The hard part will be swapping the Mustang II steering column for the VW column for that "original" look.
And Lyn Parks has helped me with a special set of knock off hub adapters to fit - and this is the cool part - a set of Sunburst wheels which I found at a fair price a couple of years ago. I'll run my PSE's for a while while I decide on bigger brakes before doing the Sunburst conversion.
