That's it, boys and girls.
Shows over.
Nothing left here but little-kid antics.
This will be the last post...

"I didn't spend four years in Evil school to be called Mr."

Can't wait to do it all again:D

Excaliber 03-25-2003 03:53 PM

,,,,the thread is so old I never did get to see the video in question.

rdorman.....how in the heck did you find this antique thread?

A link to the video? Or maybe I should just let it go.......

Dr. Evil!

Yeh it was bad of me to bring it up. Just looking forward to the fling again. I was there that night and looking forward to doing it again. Let the debate rest:cool:

I was searching for something else when I came across this and just couldn't help it!

The real question is how were you able to revive this thread? It looks like Ron locked it down.

rdorman 03-25-2003 09:01 PM

All I did is post a reply.

...I must have left the key under the mat.
;)

Seems like a good opportunity for a quick post count on this infamous thread :p

Very sneeky:eek:

Ron, you've got to be more careful. This could turn into pandora's box again. (Not that it wasn't entertaining the first time around):p

Excaliber 03-25-2003 10:24 PM

OK,,,since the thread is still here,,,,can we get a link to the infamous video in question??? I'm dying to see what sounds like a very cool video!

SH!T,

I read all 14 pages of that bewildering gaff, got 4 or 5 good laughs,........................................... .................................................. .................................................. I want the burnout!

Great Asp 03-26-2003 06:20 AM

oops

I changed servers, and it was on the old server.

I have the file, and will post this weekend when I get back in town!

Eric :p

Moths to the flame

We just can't resist can we? Like the thread from the 'newbie' about anti-Carroll. Page after page after page of posts on the subject. A page a day on it once again!

Back to the fun burnout (if this continues we should probably take it else where and let this thread die). Pat's was fine. But DVs was the one to watch. I thought the tires where going to pop he smoked them for so long. Some one posted a link to that at one point.

Speaking of that, where the heck is a DVSFII video? I have about 20 or 30 minutes at home but I want more!

MORE BURNOUTS THIS YEAR (and yes, people stand to the side at a safe distance and once you get going let off. some one move those bikes for goodness sake!)

Great Asp 03-26-2003 07:16 AM

DVSF benifits

Video?

What I would like to know, is how much the first year, and how much the second year was "really" given to CF as a result of the Spring Fling. DV, are ya out there?

Eric

rdorman 03-26-2003 07:20 AM

Are you suggesting something Eric?

Excaliber 03-26-2003 09:31 AM

Eric,
It's a good question and a reasonable one to ask. Does not imply anything other than a concerned citizen.

Burn out, burn out, burn out! Bring it on baby!

Ernie

rdorman 03-26-2003 09:52 AM

I will answer then

How much? As much as possible. Less than what was taken in (think that food, cops, everything else is free?). More this year. Enough that local CF loves us.

Seriously though. I seem to recall $30,000 from first year and something like $45,000 year two. But don't know for sure. One this is for sure we will do a lot better this year. Between registration and the Kirkham. WOW! DV works his a$$ off for no direct gain. Anyone who would question his honor in this matter would be speaking fighting words. But I am SURE that is NOT what Eric meant:D

BURN OUT! BURN OUT! BURN OUT!... come on and chant it with me... BURN OUT! BURN OUT!

Great Asp 03-26-2003 10:55 AM

nope

Not "suggesting" anything.

I have asked before, and no one knew.

Eric

Burn out!, Burn out!, Burn out!, Burn out!, Burn out!,

rdorman 03-26-2003 11:16 AM

Phew!

Feel much better now Eric! Kit Car states 30K for 1 and 40K for 2. Seems to me those where real close to the numbers that DV told me. I am not positive if that is net, I think so but no promises. I try and not worry about it. It is not tax deductable and every cent I spend I get something in return. As a bonus, much of the money goes to CF.

I think I will go home now

[b]and [size=4]do a burn out!!!!!

rdorman 03-26-2003 11:18 AM

So much for the bold and font size:rolleyes:
