I just downloaded and watched the short video on the now infamous LNP burnout...
Maybe I should have done this before I posted two replys on this thread cause I wouldn't have been near as temperate as I was. What is this man creeper yapping about. While the burnout is dramatic and very cooool I see no one in any real imminent danger. Nothing quite like a BB without noise suppression at full throttle. Good on ya Pat and the no hands finale was a nice touch... Jaysus creeper lighten up... |
OLD one note a$$hole speaks again!!
 |
Jaysus cranky lighten up...

Thanks searanch -
Years of REAL racing has allowed me to do this with total safety and control. This is something that the "wannabes" have no concept of! And it is better they don't try this!! :3DSMILE: |
Enough IMFHO! Everyone's weighed in. It was safer than it looked on the video, but obviously not as safe as on a race track or open lot.
Creeper--I've just got one REAL complaint about your posts--JUST WHO IN THE HE** ARE YOU CALLING "CHUBBY"????? Now--seems to me that there ought to be other things we can disagree on... |
News flash Pat, Real racers don't do this kind of Crap, of course the 90% crowd loves this.
YEAH, your a REAL racer. |
Actually Cranky--he is a REAL one.
Now--Everyone--points have been made on behalf of all. Let it go. Pretty please?:( |
Jamo,
Why is it when someone speaks out about street antics the crowd comes down on them? Is everbody around here so irresponsible that they think street burnouts in front of a crowd is a safe thing to do. At least Evan and Turk took their dual to the somewhat safety of the track. I know I am in the minority in my attitude about street showoffs but something tells me I am not wrong. You want to showoff all your power take it to the track. Cranky:mad: |
Pat,
Driver's License and registration please! You are under arrest. Whap! resisting arrest, impersonating a Racer. You will go to traffic school. Then we'll stop for do-nuts. I am done, stick a fork in me. TURK |
Cranky
I'm simply asking that we let it go--your opinion is certainly valid, but the situation at Quaker State is nowhere near what it appears to be on the video (zooming in screws up perspective). It was a very wide two-lane road, the group of folks only last for a few feet or so, and the speeds were very low. Quaker State is a hot rodders venue and they evidently do this type of thing every week. Still not a perfectly safe environment to be sure, but still not what the video portrays it to be. Honestly man--I was there. I driven with Pat extensively--not a show off by any means. I'm usually having to slow down for him and Turk. |
One last comment
Jamo,
Why is it that the vertically challenged always seem to be the ones pulling stunts?:D Cranky, MUST GET TO THE GLEN,MUST GET TO THE GLEN:3DSMILE: |
Moving along....
Three more videos (smaller files thanks to Mr. Jeff Frigo!)
If burn outs are not your thing, do not watch the one named "Unknown Burnout". As for the Dyno videos, I think they are harmless :3DSMILE: Im just kidding...... Great Asp Turks Dyno Unknown Burnout Great Asps Dyno http://members.directvinternet.com/e.../TurksDyno.mpg http://members.directvinternet.com/e...ownBurnout.mpg http://members.directvinternet.com/e...atAspsDyno.mpg |
You chickensh**!! How did you know that's how Bony's wife describes him when he's laying on his back and thinking he's ready?
BTW--let me add something. Turk and I have never had a disagreement--except when Rolling Thunder and I began the burnouts during the rides we gave in London (4 lanes wide, nothing/nobody in front or to the sides). Folks started doing it all day--including one involving a very old lady. We raised a bunch of money--not many rides before we did/lines formed afterwards. Turk was damn serious about his concerns. I respected him for it, but he didn't hammer me with it all weekend either. BTW--the BB was loud! Video sound changed that as well. :3DSMILE: |
knock knock, nobody's home..empty screens on my end oh great aspy one..nothing opens up, says 'loading' and then says 'done' and a white blanko screen. bill
|
Yeah Yeah Yeah
Bill,
Im trying! Eric  |
not hard enough...now, get on it !!! those burnouts will cost you a minimum of $500 in fines in most communities if you get caught when you are here for the Woodward Ave Dream Cruise Mr Asp...so get it out of your system or bring a lot of money.
on the other hand , some folks might pay you $350 to get your video of their burnouts so they dont get a retroactive ticket...hehehe...you might make money on that long trip from St Louey. bill. |
great aspy, i got some offline advice from M&M re right clicking to save to hard drive. ...it worked and that way i could get them loud (they were loud) and clear. b
|
Oh No!
I don't think my insurance could settle all the bills if I wiped out on Woodward with all the hardware around! :JEKYLHYDE
 Great Asp :MECOOL: |
might as well do a burnout for 15 feet, that will be about all the forward travel you get on the Woodward Ave CRAWL AND PARK on Saturday. see ya in Birmingham. my drive will be quicker than yours to get there, less than 10 mins for me . B

Audio/Video shot w/home equipment is never going to be top caliber. Pat's BB is a screaming machine.
