The problem is if Shelby continues running his mouth, there may not be a Cobra for your son or anyone. He is upset because the Series 1 has to meet federal emissions and safety regulations, so he is going to every magazine that will listen and tell them that "all" Cobra kit/Replica builders are using a loophole in the system. That is starting BIG trouble for every Cobra manufacturer out there, including his.
He may just not care, because the "new" Cobra Ford is going to build will have to meet all federal and safety regulations. It sure sounds like he is saying that it won't matter soon, because Ford will make sure when there Cobra is built it has the Goverment backing and no other manufacturer will. It will be the FINAL (and only) SHELBY COBRA, in his eyes.
