summer run update for the northeast guys

I just checked with the ft willian henry hotel it looks like the 1st block of rooms are full for july 11,12,13th . Im going to block another 10 if theres enough interest. Im trying to keep track of a total # of people spouses included. The hotel will set up a dinner for us (if we have a large group) but they need to know way in advance. As soon as the weather breaks a little ill take a trip up there (40 inches of snow in the past 14 days )to scout the exact route and lake placid area for a spot that has enough parking for our lunch. Tell us a little more of what you have planned. The NorthEast is a pretty small place, and anything within an 8 - 10 hour drive is within range.

Im setting up a summer run for the northeast guys july 11/12/13th. so far its just in the beginning stages but it will be in lake george ny area with a back road run thru the adirondacks from lake george to lake placid for lunch and back on the 12th.Once we get back to town there will be dinner at one of the local resturants and then a night on the town (oh what a town in the summer)
For the people that have never been, lake george and the adirondacks are some of the most beautiful areas in the northeast. This town host many events including the adirondack nationals and americade so their use to some of us that arent wraped too tight
The hotel is all set there is a block of rooms set at (www.fortwilliamhenry.com) under the code name summer run (888-389-4554 ask for rob). This is the same place that host the adirondack nationals every year.
This just all started but its comming together really quick.(this is a very busy resort area in the summer)
There have been some good ideas as to other things such as maybe boat tours or a dinner cruise on the lake the possabilties are endless.
This may turn out to be nothing more than 20 guys scaring the crap out of the wildlife or It could turn into something bigger.
I just wanted to see how many people out there would be interested and what ideas they have. This could get as big as we want to make it
