Rejoicing at my own good fortune as I look into the garage on my way to pick up the morning paper.

The realization of what I always believed was an impossible dream.

Heart palpitations, even when I’m taking it easy.

A weekend on the track with friends.

The smell of race gas.

Impromptu drives with the Gasholes.

The power.

The fury.

The challenge.

The legend.
