A day in Provo--Hey DV!!!!!!
Took a quick trip to Provo for a "fitting" of the interior (or, as David put it--"we need your butt over here!"). Guess what I came across when I got there...
The first-ever pictures of The Spring Fling Kirkham FIA, or, as David calls it--"Jenny's Car".

..and clean Jenny's Car up for her first photo shoot. These guys are so proud to be working on this car--it was like recess for them when David told them to clean her up. Gotta love 'em!

So David and I are sitting in my car...and someone hits the lift button and up we go! Time to roll U2's beauty out to be loaded up and sent home--rolled her right under us.
This is looking through the floor of my car...

And mine's coming along--stripes, including the pit stripes, still need to done--but we spent the time getting my big butt fitted--a BIG job! I'll be sitting lower than this!
Yup--a metal scoop.

Oh my gawd! I honestly have tears in my eyes! I so wanted the stripes, but how could I ask the Kirkhams for more than they already have committed too?
Mrs. DV just walked over, without a word leaned against the bookcase and just stared in silence at the pictures, then walked away.
DV...It IS a wonderfull and generous thing our Cobra family does.

I finally found time to post the photos of Jenny's car that I took several days ago, but you beat me to it Jamo. Your outside shots look much better than mine. Thanks for the photos of my car, it will be delivered Sunday morning. I can't wait!!!
DV,
It's hard to believe, but the car looks even more awesome in person!

Jamo,
Come home!
You have enough people excited...,.please STOP!
Three beautiful cars. WOW!!
If Kirkhams can be so generous to donate their car to Jeny, why not the two of you tight wads.'
It would be total act of good will and unselfishess, if U and U-2 donated Uz cars to the cause!!
How about it? Do you want me to put up a poll. or something?

give credit where its due:
thanks to Matt for the wonderful naked alum bodywork - hes a really good guy studying to be an industrial designer in the automotive field- and you can tell he has talent- hes the one who was the brain-child behind the polished stripes for the car. Great work Matt and Paty-kakes and whomever worked on the car-

Jamo, thanks for the photos - very exciting for all concerned.
Great choice on the scoop material for your own car! Is this a Kirkham option, or was this just another of the many "Jamo-Specials" to be incorporated into your fine looking car?

Horse--the guys all amaze me. What a car--what a team!
Bill, Ron--sorry, but I need the FIA to be a stablemate with the SC.
Turk--I might donate mine at DVSF XXX.
Craig--let's just say I whined until I got it. I'll let David talk about future availability. I'm now working on getting proper KK emblems for the top of the grill and trunk.
