Arrow Last call. Meeting Saturday am in Valley Forge Pa, to plan Cobra Revolution

Wanted to put out one last notice to anyone who is interested in helping to scout Valley Forge Park for the upcoming Cobra Revolution. We will be meeting around 10:45-11:00 am at the church inside Valley Forge Park. The plan is to look around the park for good spots and discuss the details of how this event will go off. All are welcome.

Steve

Steve,
How long should it take me to get there from North Jersey?

Roscoe,
I'm not 100% certain, 'cause I don't go up to North Jersey often (my loss huh?). But I believe it is about 2 hours, maybe slightly more. I'll either be driving a white 2001 Jeep Cherokee with "Leader" logos all over it, or a gold/tan 1985 Toyota MR2.

Speaking of North Jersey, has John McMahon been hiding? I haven't seen a post from him in some time.

Steve:

I'll be there. Blue M5.
I assume you'll be in the lot, not in the chapel or carillon, yes?

Roscoe:

287 South to Rt 202 (Martinsville exit is best).
Follow Rt 202 to Ringoes, then Rt 31 south to I-95.
Cross the river and exit at Rt 1 south (3rd exit in PA I believe).
Through Langhorne on Rt 1 to PA Tpk West.
Valley Forge exit (sorry, I don't remember the exit nbr).
Should be about an hour or less from 287, depending on traffic which usually flows pretty quickly. Hope to see you there.

Scott

Scott,
I'll be in the church praying for more money so I can buy more parts for the car. . I will be in the parking lot.

Roscoe,
Sorry, should have posted the directions for you, but I wasn't sure how you were coming from North Jersey. Once you get off the PA Turnpike at Valley Forge, the park is only about 7 minutes away.

From the PA Turnpike, go west to Valley Forge exit, which is exit 24.
After tolls, follow signs for Rt. 202 South. You will be on Rt. 202 South literally for about 1/2 mile.
Follow the signs VERY CLOSELY for Rt. 422 West. There is construction in this area, so watch the signs.
Go west on Rt. 422 for only a few miles, and exit at Rt. 23. At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Rt. 23 West.
Less than 1 mile down Rt. 23, you will run straight into the park. Turn right once you enter the park, this is still Rt. 23 West. The church will be another mile down the road on your right.

Roscoe-

if you are going, please let me know. I live in Madison and I'm planning on it too and maybe well run down together. Safety (or thunder) in numbers.

Roscoe, (and anyone else)
Let me ammend those directions. I drove it last night.
Once you get onto Rt. 422 West, you will go about 1 1/2 mile. It will be the 2nd exit you see, and it says Rt. 23 West (you will pass the Rt. 23 East exit). Take that ramp, and it will wind you around onto Rt. 23 West. Follow 23 West less than a mile and you'll be in the park. 23West will make a right turn. Follow it and the church will be at the top of a big hill on the right.
