Rusty frames get replaced, not repaired in my book...Kind of like working with a clean slate from car "A" to car "B"...I usually sand blast, prime with POR 15, then top coat a month down the road (do the same thing with Mustangs these days).......Never had any problems with this, and I do occasionally see some of my old handywork on the show field(s)...................
