TerrySPF: I played defense in H.S. and College ball (outside LB). Didn't get that many chances to score touchdowns. Did get my bell rung more times than I can count. In fact, if your into H.S. football, if you saw the movie "Remember the Titans" the storey of T.C. Williams, we played T.C. Williams and I can tell you those guys could put a world of hurt on your ass.
My intent is not to rub anything in anyones face. 100% of my comments are made in response to demeaning comments. Maybe it comes off wrong but all I do is to state facts in response to some/many knocks and demeaning comments.
I don't know how else to do respond. Calling guys "a holes" doesn't mean anything nor is it productiive to respond to the knocks. Do you have any suggestions? Maybe I should just stay silent? Maybe I should just agree with the demeaning and incorrect statements? Nah. Not me.
And no. I wasn't referring to you as the new guy. You were mild in the insult department. Thats an average day here for me.
Don't mean to offend anyone. Don't mean to knock anyones car in my responses. Not trying to. In fact I can't understand why stating facts about the CSX is a considered a knock towards others? Beats me. But it kind of puts me in a lose lose situtaion. If I stay silent regarding the demeaning statements its not fair to me and I allow incorrect statements (sometimes motivated by envy or just meaness to go unchallenged) and if I respond with the facts I am slammed and accused of saying "mine is better" which I am not saying at all.
Think about it. If I thought I was above replicas (of which my car fits the definition) why would I even participate here and have bothered to make some friends here (I think I have 2 or 3
) Why would I bother to drive 10 hours to go to the Fling and meet alot of these guys? No. I would just hang out at SAAC events and with guys who have CSXs.
No. I am just defending the CSX in response to bull$hit whatever the motive.
Finally, no need to apologize. Your not the first to take a shot at me. You won't be the last. No problem. Forgiven.
