What Sounds Do You Like in the Cobra?
I know there is nothing sweeter than the sounds emanating from those sidepipes, but for those who DO have stereos in their Cobras, what sort of music do you listen to? I personally have the local rock music stations, the obligatory "Oldies" station, and the Classical station! ("Ride of the Valkyries" sounds awesome in the Cobra!!) I also carry a compliation CD with the Ripchords' "Hey Little Cobra", just because!!! So, what do you listen to?

Cobras don't need no stinkin' radios.

DC Talk, Human, BTO, Lynard Skynard . . . no country, no rap. Not much radio because the antenna is mounted in the trunk. I also like the sounds of a ricer fading off in the distance behind me. My first time passenger getting out rambling unintelligibly.

If you can hear the stereo the sidepipes are too long and have too much baffling.

Mine aren't that loud at cruise. They only set off the car alarms when I drive by. At full song they will set off all the alarms on the block. The CD player does become useless above 75mph though. It's nice for cruisin around town.

From my limited experience, you can hear a person talk in a Cobra, but the sound of a radio would basically be noise. An exception might be a Dragonsnake, which should be less noisy: both from the pipes and the wind.

Vroom!!! Vrooom!!!
Unfortunately at this stage I have to make these noises myself.
I better go do some more work on the body prep.
Cheers

Hey Mike,
Never mind prepping the body, you put the steering wheel on the wrong side.
Nice girl friend you have there.

I still haven't decided if I will put a cd player in my car. I have almost always had some sort of cd/player cassette deck in every car I have owned but I'm leaning toward "not" this time due to asthetics. Any comments on this subject?

No tunes for me hope the side pipes will be just right (but if I still here the passenger side air bag go off) may be.
