Top right is the awesome '57 Jag XKSS - built from surplus parts and jigs of the D-Type racer, only 16 were built before a terrible fire destroyed the plant. Doesn't get much sexier than this.
Who can name the others?

That Audi car sure reminds me of the AutoUnion cars of yester year.

I think the '57 T-Bird was a good lookin set of wheels. The "65 Mustang fast back wasn't too bad either. The '56 Lincoln Two door hrd top was a real boat but had great lines. So did the '56
Ford Crown Vic. Oh jeez some many cars so little time!!!

BUZZ--a Bugatti? (picture is small) I like a seeing a Pantera with BIG wheels and tires going down the freeway in front of me...One of the guys at work bought a 1974 Pantera new in '74, drove it 30 miles to home and PARKED IT! What do you think THAT car is worth?

For me it's the model "T" buy a margin so large that nothing is even close. It'd design revolutionized the world in its time with impact to the presant. My favorite "modern" car though and one I have had some dealings with was a Maserati Bora. Followed by a couple of hot rod Panteras

Buzz
...and me being the Bugatti lover--didn't recognize it.

Oinie
Oh--I thought you meant the Avus showcar. Yes--the previous one is a 1936-37 Auto Union that held the record for awhile against Mercedes Benz in the days when they did world record speed attempts on the autobahn.

Yup, its a Bugatti Type 57c. Edley, that Pantera should be worth a few bucks, but here's a pic of its daddy: the handsome '69 DeTomaso Mangusta.

Good article on the Mangusta in this month's Classic Car--Italian name for Mongoose--supposed to be a Cobra killer when marketed.

Jamo, what did they write about its actual performance? Its a looker to be sure and certainly no slouch. But it may have been biting off more than it could chew trying to be a Cobra killer. From a pure engineering standpoint, I seem to recall it being praised for its "revolutionary" backbone chassis.

Thumbs up well.........

..my brain says Porsche 911 Turbo...my heart says Cobra (of course!---especially bright red-orange ones!)...but my aesthetic sense says Ferrari Testarossa (the 1957 pre-pontoon one). Ferrari TR just beats the GTO and the C-type Jag. Pushed hard, I'd go with the Porsche.
So-o-o-o, what is the answer to your question?

Buzz

I'll dig it up in the bathroom next time I'm in there--but it had a 302 to replace the original 289.

Austin Mini Cooper 1275 S, or do I prefer the Morris version?

Porsche 911s, especially of the 94 to 98 era. A design that is still with us after 50 plus years of uninterupted production if you count the 356 as a mini 911, 40 years if you don't.
