I was in until the Kirkhams put up the b*stard 289/427, that hybrid is now drawing my fire. Only 1 hour and 45 minutes left on the 289, I thought it would get to the 26k range, I wonder if there will be a last minute flurry of bidding?

No one jumped in 22,102 bid and change took it. Looks like a good deal for the buyer

The high bid, swanny80, has no (EBay)feedback. It will be interesting to see if the deal closes. I know the high bid on the HiTech 289FIA from a couple weeks ago didn't close the sale.
I've got a feeling that if the sale doesn't close the Kirkham's won't mind.

Well,
For those of you who missed the last 289 car...we put another one on.
Just trying out the market and experimenting with what works.

Wow ,what a deal!. Really thought it would have run to $26-28K. I 'll venture a guess that if you guys can knock 'em out at under $20K you could sell a pile of them.

Speaking of eBay
... we're about to take a bath on our 427 upper oil remotes. There's 2 of them on, and in 5 hours somebody is going to steal them.
Might as well be some friends from CC.
our current auctions.

Steve has any one put one of your body's no the VSE chassis all aluminum 160 pounds? Could be fun. With all baring EMS front end and a RDI 710 HP.418 All aluminum stroker. And some Fisk wheels (17 pounds each) and if the budget is not busted yet maybe some titanium drive shafts and spindles and hubs. And a Jarico 4 speed. It might be tuff to get springs light enough for the HAL shocks. Might be a fun projet for DV4.
