I knew someone would say that!:) (fiberglass scoop more original)

pk 02-21-2003 04:49 PM

if anything is sillier then SAI vs everyone else, it's Kirkham vs Kimmons.

I've seen Evan's car and the 9/11 car and I've got to say if these cars are not "Cobra" enough for for you.....try Zoloft. **)

HA HA! Well said PK! I'm not a wine fancier in that I can't really tell one fancy wine from another, but some can. Kirkham vs Shelby vs Kimmons is JUST like that for me, fine wine and a tough call!

Hmmmm....

By golly, sure wished I could have an arruminum scoop on my poor Kirkham like them soft skinned Kimmons do. Oh, wait a minute--I do!:3DSMILE:

...well....my, my, Mr. Jamo...
...I'd say that car has a much softer patina, as well.

REAL 1 02-21-2003 06:14 PM

BB v. SB; ERA v. SAI; SAI v. Kirkham; CSX REAL or replica?; Arrumimum v. Glass; Arruminum v. Arruminum;

Whats next?:JEKYLHYDE

Boy this has been a long winter!

Patina? Dr. Bolte, what the @#$% are you talking about?????:JEKYLHYDE Arruminum is Arruminum. Besides I like the Kirkham patina better! :p. CSX 4206 has the most beautiful patina of all. Only problem is its under the paint. :p

Brett how does your patina compare to the patina of the original AC arruminum?????:JEKYLHYDE

CSX 4039 02-21-2003 06:16 PM

Jamo- How do you get your snake so much harder than mine? Must be the right hand:3DSMILE:

I thought the whole point of this thread was comparing cars. The only time you get personal, is when its about a Kirkham. No problem bashing SAI though. Heck, even the website moderator can't pass up an opportunity that good.

Brett: Fair enough.

HEY!!!! Watch what you say about Kirkhams, they are THE BEST!!!!(man that felt good):3DSMILE: :D **) :) :MECOOL:

CSX 4039 02-21-2003 06:54 PM

CJ- for continuity, you should paint your new KMP green, stick a surfboard in it, take it to Hawaii, and ride up to the North Shore with Excaliber.:3DSMILE:

PatBuckley 02-21-2003 07:46 PM

Jamo - my Big Buddy, I thought they were going to sand your car for you?

Brett- Why is your windshield so upright?

PB:)

If you're serious, and not making a snappy comeback to my Jamo joke, I guess I don't know. It was assembled by McCluskey to be a sister car to the continuation car he built for Carroll Shelby, CSX 3056. I think you're pulling my leg though.

Excaliber 02-21-2003 08:26 PM

Really!

Whoa!

So Brett that is a McCluskey assembled Kimmons body on a Shelby frame? Dam,,,,,I got say, thats some awesome credentials.

But that hood scoop aint right, being "metal" and all that. Not enough bondo either.......

Ernie:JEKYLHYDE

KobraKarl 02-21-2003 08:57 PM

Brett,

That car definately looks different than the polish body! I cant tell if its the suspension set-up or the fender flare or even the rake to the windsheild .............but that body looks different............and i gotta say I think it looks more like the 3000 series. beautiful car!

Thanks. When I'm in Seattle I'll take you out to lunch on the water. If it was a 3000, I'd take you out to dinner!:p

Jamo 02-21-2003 10:08 PM

deleted--not worth it.

Excaliber 02-21-2003 10:17 PM

Oh man,,,,just when I thought we were having a civilized conversation exploring the differences that make all these cars great! There is a difference in the two bodies. I never would have noticed had it not been pointed out.

Thats the thing about fine wines you see........

Jamo 02-22-2003 01:18 AM

Hmmmm....

Not the best photo comparison, but here's Bolte's Kimmons and Tom Kirkham Jr.'s bare naked lady (with the KISS attendees).
