Question E-brake handle assembly

Maybe someone can save me from numerous phone calls. I am looking for an emergency brake assembly that I can mount on the side of the center tunnel, in stead of the top mount style. Whats available new or possibly available from a wrecking yard.

Thank you in advance for your help

If you can find a jaguar junk yard, the XKE assy. was my choice.

My assy. is all from Lokar
It's a handle with e-brakes cables and block kit

Mounts where the real one would I put mine on the outer side of the tranny frame rail. My tunnel cover slides right on and the handle sits on the outer passenger side.

The only think I had to make was the mounting plate for the handle to bolt to the frame rail...also a matching spacer for the cable anchor block to keep the owrks all in the same working plane.

Hi there, I used the shorter of the 2...the 11"

You planning on doing the same set up?

Tim

As you can see, I still have yet to trim off my cables. I plan on using heatshrink and a nice vacuum cap on each end, once cut.

Thumbs up TIM

Thanks man.

I do plan on using the same set up.

You have it in the perfect location, it look's 60's vintage.

Mine will have the single brake cable for the Jag parking brake, like oem.

Thanks and cheers,
Bill Cook
