MSD-6AL ignition unit features various rpm limiting "chips" you can simply plug in to change the range. The unit, about $260 comes with 4 or 5 "chips" that may not be the exact rpm you want. Additional chips cost about $50 for a set of 4 or 5 in different ranges.
