Side By Side Comparison
Everyone keeps saying "mine is more accurate than yours". Would it be possible for someone who is computer literate to post a side-by-side (front/rear also) comparison of the top 5 mfg's to the original mfg so we can see how much they differ or replicate the originals. I would do this, but I have no talent on the computer.

If I remember correctly try my427.com. I think there were only side views of various cars but I recall not being able to look at the interior views though. I think it was five or six different makes.

TINKER51, Thanks the side views were good. You can see a diff. in roll bars and wheel openings. The big diff. I heard were of the front ends. Thanks....

That ones even better. The ffr would look a lot better(IMHO) if they changed that roll bar...Thanks

J, Most people say that an SPF is a little long in the nose? I guess w/o seeing them up close and side by side its tuff to tell, unless you know a thing or 2 about a thing or 2.........................

The nose on the Shelby is dimensionally the same as a 3000 series car.

Of all the ERA owners on this forum, surely someone has a photo of their car taken from the same angle as all the other cars on ERA's comparison page. Do you think if you emailed it to Bob P. that he would be able to replace the butchered photos of the 427 and 289FIA, and maybe add a complete photo of the later 427SC???
All of the other photos look fine, but the two most important photos (considering it is ERA's website after all), look doctored and by coloring the background, attention is taken away from their fine lines...
That's just my critical observation from across the pond.

750Hp - You're right, that is a terrible picture. In fact, just about ALL the pictures are bad examples! The picture of the SPF is awful; blurred, front wheels are turned and it looks like there's a gap in the front wheel well, even looks like the "427 badge" above the vents is in the wrong place! Someone send them a new picture, will ya!? The picture of the B&B doesn't have a roll bar and THAT'S one of the things they (ERA) tell you to compare with theirs. They need some new pic's !!!

Your point is well taken. 
People and companies rarely take side-profile pictures from long distance. Even me. I would be happy to post undoctored (except to crop and size) any pictures that are better than mine. My "ideal profile" picture would be one taken from waist height and a distance of at least 50 feet, directly perpendicular to the car.
The reason that I cropped the background on my picture? I happened to get the profile comparison idea at the wrong time and place. The car was an old one (actually our first car, in for service!) so it had the wrong roll bar. The background was just to "busy" and a distraction, so I cropped it out.
I do my best.

The real reason you cropped out the background is because you did not want everyone to see the paradise that your shop resides.
Nothing and I mean nothing beats New Britian in the summer time. Everyone should visit Bob and ERA.  |

Every original Cobra was DIFFERENT. The English panel beaters were no were as good as the Italians. The car used for the CSX4000 series [Carroll's own] has one headlight 3/4" further back than the other. Just stand at the side of the car and you can see with the naked eye. So every fiberglass CSX4000 has the same flaw.
How to compare one replica from the other if they were copied from different ORIGINAL cars.
If you like yours, that's the only thing important.
