Default FNG wants turnkey

Yo, All-

I'm 52 years old and don't have the time, energy, or eyesight to build a replica.

I'm looking at a turnkey from Specialty Autoworks in Nashville, TN for about 42 Large.

Hey, I touched two original Cobras in my wasted youth in central CA, a small block and a big-block. Woof.

I'm no purist, my Cobra has to be a daily driver, and in my climate, (don't scream) air conditioned.

I'm thinking injected small-block Ford, 5-speed, detachable hard top.

I just wanna have fun.

Input about turnkey builders?

Thank, guys.

UT

Thumbs up UT, I am (now) 58 and....

...had the same obsession you did (saw my first Cobra at Watkins Glen, NY). Took YEARS to get one (I bought Jamo's Butler---which was the make I wanted). If I were you, I'd look at an SPF and compare...compare..compare. Another way to get a "turnkey" is follow my route---buy a used one until you can spring for the one you want. It gives you "seat time" (driving experience) and lets you see what you like (and what you don't). WARNING: you may not be able (or want) to "unload" your first car. I located someone who wanted me to buy and fix one up for him before I bought. I'm not sticking to one Cobra---although I will be doing it one at a time!! Good luck!
