Question FIA body illustration

Maybe someone can help me find a drawing of the FIA Cobra body? I've seen it someplace but I can't find it now and a search if Club Cobra turns up references to the chassis but not an illustration of the body.

Thanks

John

Is this what you were looking for? It is from the Finish Line web site.

Wink That's the one!

Hi Rick

Thanks for the help, that's the one I'm looking for. Got the house refinanced and now I have to decide on FIA-small block or SC-FE. I've looked at all the pictures I can find but I'll probably go look at Kirkham's again.

John

That's an FE scattershield. The one for the 289 Cobra with the Cobra lettering has two big ribs on top from the tranny hole to the top edge where it meets the block.

Some say NHRA approved on them.

There were several versions. Quite pricey too. Every once in a while one comes up on eBay. I don't know if anyone reproduces them.
