Cool Best place to mount chromed Halon fir extinguisher

I've viewed a bunch of photos, looking for a practical mounting-area for a chromed fire extinguisher. Some I saw were positioned horizontally across the front of the engine(Butler)/tranny hump, just under the dash and others were vertically between the seat backs. I can see advantages and disadvantages to both, but no other practical or comfortable place seems possible other than these two. I figured certain angles of sun might make the forward position a nuisance and also wondered about the aft position and "elbow room". I know lots of you guys have views and considerations (not to mention tricks) wh/ might help me decide. Meanwhile I'm just sitting out there (engine off) placing the thing here...no here...no maybe here...(hope the neighbors don't notice!) Any help will be appreciated. Tanks.

I've got the chromed one on the transmission hump, under the dash area, and have no issues with sunlight reflection. I also stuffed another one in the space between the driver's seat and the door.
