Saving Weight

Hi all;
This is a hypothetical question,but I just can't stop thinking about it.
From what I understand the FFR cars tip the scales at approx 2100-2200lbs and I'm assuming they are some of the lightest kits about.How much weight would someone save by using a Ford 302/351 Aluminiun block and a Kevlar body. With extensive use of alloy on the motor eg heads, and a tremec box with 8.8 mustang rear,is it possible to get under 1900lbs.I know much other things will effect this situation, but I guess these are the main areas to save the most weight.
Do Ford Racing/Motorsport still make Aluminium blocks,I have a 2000 catalog the says they do, but my e-mails are not reaching them.

The Motorsports blocks are available from RDI at 704-892-8688.

Just got mine: 351, 122 lbs., 9.5 deck height, 4 bolt mains. 454 cu. in. capacity. Must use crank with 2.749 journals.

Supposedly FFR's Carbon Fiber body shaved off 100 lbs.

Then you can get tubular lower A-Arms which MAY save weight. (maybe add?)

Don't forget about the easy things you can throw money at. Aluminum radiator, lightweight racing seats, lightweight wheels.

You can do a search on FFCobra.com I believe someone was trying to make the lowest weight cobra. I think he was going the LS1 (chevy) route tho.
