well, while not a 4000/7000 series SAI, but still an aluminum package from Kirkham. NO reserve can bite ya sometimes, but this seems to be THOUSANDS below normal pricing for this package. if so, it hurts the value for all that paid the real deal pricing, sold at $25,500 :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2412601465 good grief. seems like someone got a great deal on this ...all others who paid full price should be wincing... bill |
He saved about $4000. By Kirkham's own explanation, it would take an additional $30,000 to complete the car to a finished roller, with the brushed finished. Their current selling price for this $59,000. He would have $55,500 invested.
I would think a good paint job would be an additional $10,000. But, this car already has a brushed finished, if that's what you want. If you were going to paint the car anyway, I would think you could buy the unpainted finished roller at current prices for about $54,000. If you are going to have kirkham finish the car, and then you're going to paint it, you haven't saved anything. Assuming a good paint job is an additional $10,000, I would think a painted finished Kirkham roller at current prices would be about $65,000. I know of someone who with in the last year bought a painted finished aluminum CSX4000 roller for $70,000. Was this a good deal? |
What with the $10K paint job? Why isn't $5K enough to get a "good" paint job?
