Bandit,

Did you explain to her that you weren't that kind of guy??? Did you tell her you weren't that "easy"?
Did you tell her that you wanted to "get to know her better" before you could commit???

I took my best friends son on his first Cobra ride. While we were in the car he said nothing at all. When we pulled back into the driveway he looked over to me and said "Im tellen on you".

I said "for what". About that time my friend walked out of the garage and said "well son how was it"

His son said, "dad we were going so fast, when I looked over to the side to see the neighbors cat running like hell for its very life, my gum flew right out of my mouth"

I said "why was your mouth open"

He said "let me drive and I'll show you!"

Default Got to love them!

After my first Cobra ride I said 'I need a clean pair of underwear'.

I always told my wife to be careful with the loud peddle and never, never floor it. The first time I stood on it with her in the car she grabbed my leg so hard I had a bruise for two weeks and she said 'now I know whay you told me not to floor it'.

When I spun the car with my daughter in it, she said 'that was fun daddy. do it again!' (thats my girl!)

Most people are so shocked that they can not speak until you let off of it. Afterwards they usually can't shut up. Unless of course you stand on it again. My wife and daughter usually start singing within minutes of getting in the car.

Took a friend and fellow car nut for a ride last fall. We're just putzing around nice and easy and I'm explaining things about the car... then we stop at a red light. Nobody in sight. Nice stright in front of us. Light turns green...

I got the car rolling to about 20 first (to prevent leaving B.F. Goodrich all over the road). Then I hammered it... the car YANKED us through 1st gear. Then it YANKED us through 2nd gear. He didn't say anything (that I could hear) during this phase. I let off the throttle completely at the top of 2nd and the engine braking threw us both into our belts. At this point, there was a slight pause, then.. "HOLY SH!T. This is the FASTEST car I have EVER ridden in!"

He couldn't stop talking about it the rest of the ride.

Later that day, he called and politely informed me that I should really warn passengers before doing that, "My neck hurts a bit. Man, you could seriously give someone whiplash in that thing if you didn't warn them first." He was very polite about it.

Now I warn people (or only use 1/4 throttle). Speaking of which, I find that 1/4 or 1/2 throttle is PLENTY for scaring passengers (and driver). I can't remember the last time I actually floored it completely.

Wink Holy ****...

I took a friends Lady Friend for a ride up the side of Keuka Lake late last summer.
She informed me that she loved speed & the louder the better. So of course I ran through the gears at about 3/4 go pedal
and then turned around for the ride back to the Marina... At this point she asked for more.. OK we launched and hammered the gears to the triple numbers range and then I hammered the Wilwoods .... When we got back to the marina she grinned and announced to everybody Holy **** I'm wet...

Default Better than Sex

After taking a friends wife for a quick spin around the block she had a very surprising response. Upon returning to the group of spectators she was soooo excited that she jumped out and screamed "that was better than sex!" After the laughter subsided she finally calmed down. It was a good ride! No comment on the husband.

I gave a family member a ride last summer just after he bought a new M3. I was told he had a weak heart so I was concerned how he would take it. I told him I would take it easy and he quickly corrected me and said "I can handle it".

So I found a secluded stretch of road and made the quick 0-90-0 run. He was looking for things to hold on to but didn't say much until we got back to the house... just kept chuckling under his breath. Then when asked how the ride was by the rest of the family members, he responded very calmly by saying...

"He put the power of God in that darn thing"...
