Dan,
I wish I could have said that I had the information in the gray matter between my ears, but all that I could remember was that some woman wrote the song after she bought a Cobra.
(Quick internet search returns the following from: http://www.thecarsource.com/shelby/c...tle_cobra.html)
""Hey, Little Cobra" was written by Carol Conner in 1964. She apparently wrote "Hey, Little Cobra after she'd gone to Shelby American and purchased her very own Little Cobra. Her biggest hit was "To Know Him is to Love Him" selling 2 million copies."
