Bob:

Let's get something clear here. My response is about EVERY time I compliment the way a Superformance Cobra drives, several people start comparing their manufacturer to Superformance and Mr. Evan has been the first to say that the Superformance chassis, brakes, etc... are no big deal and in fact is no better than a CSX4000 chassis.

I could care less that the CSX car would win a car show (if originality was the main concern). I bought my car to drive it FAST and unless people can't do math I would prefer to go fast then win a car show. I think the 460 engine family is 10 times better than any 427 S.O. engine and I sure wouldn't pay $10,000.00 more for less power and reliability.

It's "real" simple Evan, the CSX4000 Shelby Cobra is the greatest piece of artwork ever produced. It has (in my opinion) a legendary feel and look to it that no other can produce, ater all it is a Shelby Cobra. However, it's chassis and design is over 30 years old and it does not outperform any JBL, ERA, or Superformance Cobra (just to name a few). It was never designed by Shelby (the CSX4000 series) to be the "best engineered" Cobra, just the most "original".

Mr. FIXIT:

As I said before, I could care less about resale value, car shows, race tracks, etc.. I want a car that rides like the wind and is even faster. When the Superformance Cobra wins EVERY competition in a featured magazine article, Evan can be there to point out the "non original" style chassis.
