Default Good News, Bad News

The good news, After many setbacks and delays the chassis and drivetrain are done. Fired up today, nothing like a big block. Very pleased. The bad news is I've came to realize making it to DVSF with this car may not happen. The good news is my buddy has a cobra and I told him I already have the hotel and have registered so lets go. The bad news is he told me he can't go. The good news is he said I could take his car! I'll be there one way or the other. I don't post much but I visit the site every day. Can't wait to meet some of you caractors.
Gman
Maybe this is Gods way of telling me I can't drive two cars home.
the one I built and the one the Kirhams' and DV built for me.

gman, I am destined to have a Cobra! Here's why. Two weeks ago, I was in Wal-Mart, purchased a Matchbox "Barrett-Jackson" Cobra and when I laid my hands upon it in the isle, I noticed a song on the radio. Didn't get the name of it but it was about a Cobra. "Spring lil Cobra" something or other. Went back to the same isle yesterday and the same song was on the radio again. Today, while registering for the DVSF III, I read where the 60's group will be there, known for this particular song. Sssooo..... maybe my destiny will be fulfilled and I'll be parking the Kirkham in my new garage!!!

See you there!!

Cobaby

Gman,

That's too bad about the car. At least you still get to go no matter what. We take the car to the paint booth on friday, then its a race to get it together in time for the fling.
