Trying to get to (and through) DVSF3...
...I am frantically doing some axle and body work in order to get the Butler out to Clumbs, Ha., three weeks from now. What a grind! A potential buyer will be there and I need to find out whether or not there are still motel rooms available.
Gawd knows, I cannot imagine there are any, but what's the best site to check? On the DVSD3 site itself?
I hate being a ghoul, but if there have been any cancellations, I'd appreciate a heads up. The reason for this is that my contact and host in Columbus is not going to be in town....so----it's a clash of the C's:
-COMING? Yessir, I intend to.
-COBRA, TOO? Hopefully!
-CAMPING?--hope not (though I've done it a lot)---but can do if needed---maybe in the camper-back
-COMFY? I'll guarantee ya, if someone bequeaths me an uneeded room!
Reason I'm yappin' about this so late is I have been eyeballs deep in at least 3 major projects, not the least of which is Buffing the Buttler.....ANY help or (polite) suggestions will be welcome and rewarded*.
*I yam hip-deep in fairly sophisticated audio-visual equipment, plus digital camera stuff (some of which I know how to operate!!!), so I could "feature" you and yer cah in exchange for a spare room (with a phheunnnn... )

Check with Turk, I think he had a couple of unclaimed rooms.

Rooms!
Columbus has something like 20,000+ hotel rooms. You will find one! Trick is, can you get one with everyone else!
Try the www.dvsf.com website and call the four hotels listed there. If they are all booked, contact DV and ask the hotels for a recommendation.

Tanks, Rick
....I will indeed explore that site! I was somewhat angling to see if the Cobra Crowd had rented out a whole motel floor or somethihng like that. Nonetheless, I will try for ANY single (or double) in the area. Grateful I be.

The Hampton Inn had 4 or 5 rooms available Sunday evening. I booked one.

Fred,
Bonyhadi had a post on here a day or so ago wanting to sell his reservations and hauling as he has family illness. I talked to him about it but I have to many medical appointments coming up to go. I think he told me that Turk has all his stuff. So you may try giving Turk a shout.

Oh!
I literally thought you had a 390 CID Cleveland! I know there are people out there who stroke them and I thought that is what you did. 390 HP, sounds very similar to mine, we can compare notes! Hoping for close to 420 after the tuner gets done with it.
See you soon
Rick
