Saved a life last night!
This is how accidents happen. It has been raining here in New York every weekend, for the last four or five. I have lost count.Last night (6/10/03) God gave us a break and it was perfect , clear skies 80 degrees and all my Cobra buddies came out to our local cruise night. What a terrific get together.Friends I have not seen in awhile , we swapped racing lies, ogled girls that were way to young for us and just chilled.
AND THEN HE CAME OUT. I saw him first, Fifty something,5'2",135lbs soaking wet, Gucci loafers ,no sox, black silk pajama pants, matching John Gotti knit tee shirt, round Elton John clown sunglasses. The consumate Cobra judge!
He passes the first Three Cobra's all Superformance ,mildly sniffs at them.He looks at mine and lets go.! In a loud clear voice he announces my wheels are wrong ,the gap in my door s are not uniform and they shouldn't make cars like this. For a brief moment I tried to remember if we had the vague law from Texas. You know, the one where you can go before the judge and plead the " Your honor he needed killing defense". I visualized just snapping this little twerks neck and how good it would feel.I NEED TO SEE THE MOVIE ANGER MANAGEMENT. I held onto the fact that my wheels were wrong, the gap in my doors were not uniform and somebody probably beat the **** out of this guy in the school yard many times before and it didn't do any good then.SO I SAVED HIS LIFE AND DIDN'T THROTTLE HIM.
Thanks Brent for giving me a forum to RANT.Wouldn't it be better if we didn't all have something good to say it 's better to say nothing ! Some of us have blood ,sweat and tears in these cars and idiots who have collections that are too valuable to drive might want to take note of that.
