Thanks Paul, I've made a few of those mistakes myself. Once I spent all night installing a new electric fan in my Cobra, then wrecked it by plugging it in to 110 volt power to see if it worked. After 10 seconds of smoke and VERY high RPM it quit. I then decided i was too tired and better go to bed. One last sip of "coffee" was actually paint thinner!!!
Hi Perry, I remember meeting you in your garage, you were actually under the car building those headers that day. I now have a better appreciation for what you did. I know I have it easy with a removable front clip.
Hi Tinker, Yes it's a street car that I take drag racing when I can. I hope to meet the 95 db noise rule for "Fastest street car" competitions with just the collector mufflers. The sidepipes will be added if needed at the track and when on the street. I have two sets of sidepipes. Both are 5" outside diameter but one set is 4" inside and one set is 3".
