You might also be referring to the Mercer Cobra, a concept car using a Cobra chassis that was under the direction of Virgil Exner, Head of Styling for Chrysler Corporation in the 50s. He used Ghia as the coachbuilder for cars like the Thomas Special, K-310, and the Chrysler D'Elegance.
