Default Photo Uploads....Need your assistance.

I have gotten mail, as well as seen posts regarding the images not uploading....I'm not sure exactly what is going on, so I need your assistance. I have been able to upload pictures ok, so I'm not sure if you're seeing an error message or what the problem is.

Please detail what happens when you try to upload an image. Thanks fellas, I appreciate your patience.

Brent,

Had no problem with up-loading to my gallery, but still could not attach an image to a post like you did above.

Might be me..... 'cause I really don't have any idea when you ask:
What color theme are you using?

Brent,

I have had several failures trying to post a picture. On some of them I got a file failed to post error, and on others it went through the whole process as if it was attaching the picture and then there was nothing but the text with no error. Also I looked at you picture and it is great. I tried attaching one with 22,527 bytes on my drive and after 3 tries it finally posted it at 6,060 bytes but it was just a very small picture. It is over in the lounge if you want to take a look at it and se if you can tell what I did wrong. I have posted pictures in the past with no trouble and they posted at whatever size I had them on the drive as long as I stayed below the 30K limit. I am using the default color sceme. On the topic, why can't I delete posts any more ? I am afraid to try to post test pictures as I can't delete the posts and I don't want to clutter the board with a bunch of tests. I used to be able to delete a post but now I get a message that the moderator may have denied me permission to do this or that I am trying to delete someone else's post.

I'll try and post a picture here, I haven't had any luck posting in the gallery either.
Don

It went through the whole process with no errors but still no picture.

The system also doesn't show that I edited this post.

1st time it didn't, 2nd time it did.

Definite database issues that I hope to get resolved shortly. Always something.

This is the error I get:

P5200048.JPG: Uploaded file not found
Typical reason is that the file exceeded allowed limits.

Size limit on upload page is 300k. The pic is 150k. I have tried to go down to 68k and it still did not take. And same message every time.

Oh and I get a Database error when I do a search.

I've got the same problem as sid.

I couldn't attach an image to a post - I had the file in the attach field, it just didn't attach. File was a 38k jpg file.

Tried to upload to my gallery with the "upload file not found..." error.

Ditto. Number one son who is a Telecom Engineer tried to post for me; compressed the pics down to a acceptable level and got the same message Sid did.

Guys... nothing has changed since the last update... the software still has problems at the server level.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the bogus error it is reporting re: file sizes.

The notice will be posted when it's fixed.

I am going to try to post a picture of my "quick disconnect link".

I make all the parts, except the bolts, washers and the quick release pin (that is the shinny piece in the center of the aluminum button).

The round aluminum button is attached to a quick release pin. When the pin is pulled the link screwed to the header can slide out of the quick disconnect link. This allows the header to be stowed with the bottom forward and will then clear high back seats.

Just thought you would like to know.
