Boudy,

Did you happen to send information on the backdraft cobra?

Boudy 07-09-2003 08:53 PM

I got word this afternoon that I have another batch on the way to me and should be here tomorrow. Please email me your address.

All you guys waiting on info, it'll go out Saturday.

Thanks,

Boudy

Hey Boudy

Thanks for the info on the T56 and RHD. Now I'll check to see if it can be registered here in La. with RHD. whoo hoo

The T56 won't fit no way no how ? Even with a big hammer or a BFH or even a RBFH ? :-)

regards
Doug

Boudy,

Your post showing the 2003 fender, is very similar to our car, if not our car. I have a lot of photo's at over a meg each so I'll have to get the file sizes smaller to post them.

Sergio, a really super guy that's built a FFR locally has a website: www.Cobra4Me.com Select "Albums" and then "Rides and Ribs" off the pull down. All the shots of a black Cobra with Bronze stripes are our BDR.

I can't take any credit for how the car looks, this is exactly the way we bought it from Reg, Frank and Tony at the Knott's show.

Doug: LA may not care about the right-hand-drive and we know they will title the car no problem. I'll do a little digging, Doug Reed sells SPF out of Chalmette so we know LA is not a stranger to the replica process.

The BFH method won't work on a fiberglass tunnel. Sorry.

BlackBDR: Yes that would be a shot of your car from my files. I wondered who obtained that beauty from Reg. Take all the credit you like, it's a bad-a$$ ride.

Frank, if you have pics in a desktop folder you should be able to browse from the post page and add it. It must be 40k or less in size so you may have to resize it. I can post the pic you gave me of the first launch if you want me to.

Nuke427 07-10-2003 08:28 PM

Frank, don't have the first launch here, it's at work in a file.

flanker 07-10-2003 08:49 PM

nuke that would be great. i don't know how to resize. i need to take a whole bunch of pics but it is hard to do that when all i want to do is drive her.

I'll check the post in the morning and if you haven't gotten any pics posted I'll post your first launch. It's a cool pic.

Hey Flanker (or anyone else) What is this Reptile Roundup in November???? Who, what, when where and why?????

Boudy 07-10-2003 10:16 PM

Frank: Here's the way I do it. There may be a different way, but I don't know what it is.

1) Upload the pics to your gallery.
2) While in gallery, click on the thumb-nail pic of choice.
3) When it opens, right click on pic and then click "Properties"
4) When properties opens, highlight and copy the http address of the pic.
5) Now go and reply to a post.
6) In the post, just above your text box, press the "IMG" button.
7) When the address box appears, paste.

You won't see the pic, only the address until you submit.
If anyone knows a better way, or a way to add several pics to one post without using a second browser to cut-n-paste from,
Please Speak Up.

Boudy,

I am wondering which engines will fit in the backdraft.

Will a 427 fit?
Will a 351 Cleveland or a 351 Windsor fit?

EngineerMan 07-12-2003 02:54 PM

BDR owners,

What is the most common engine used in a BDR Cobra?

flanker 07-12-2003 03:39 PM

302, 302 strokek to 347, 351, or 351 stroked to 408
