I believe that I have seen that car in person. Pretty good shape considering it is unrestored. A car can be restored any number of times, BUT IT IS ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE.

Looks good to me. An unretored car that is 37 years old.

Mr. Fixit is dead-on. This car is as perfect as it can be. It has seen the street as evidenced by the worn rear fender paint and general condition. The car has been performing its primary function to best of it's ability. All it needs is some cosmetic work in paint, polish, worn part replacement.

Waxing is fine but you gotta use them.

Skippy... you have to respect unmolested originality.... it has a certain charm and appeal.

Remember the old car show adage: "..if it looks too good, it must be a replica."

3282 spent the majority of its adult life with one owner (Calif).

I believe it recently sold (last year or so) and is on the East Coast now.
If this is a current for-sale listing, it's sad to see it roll-over so quickly... it just might hasten it's fate to a "Frame-up" restoration by a new owner.... and we lose another survivor car.

A true "survivor". It looks great. Leave it alone.

I hear what you guys have to say.

The only reason being i come from a Jaguar backround family, my grandfather was nuts for them and also was my father. Unfortunately the last Jag that rests in family my is a MK II Jag and we are still the original owners, the MkII is in such perfect condition with only one engine rebuild and still the original paint work and everything else that came with it. Even the tool box in the boot has never been opened. It was also a Daily car taking 3 children to school each morning and a run about for my dad to and thro from work.

I guess i'm only spoilt seeing my Dad take of every car he owned to the perfection as he is today.

So when i saw the Original Cobra Beauty is such a dirty and neglected state i was shocked. We as cobra members pride ourselves with the cars we have, either a daily car or that of a show car, as computerworks said "it's sad to see it roll-over so quickly "

It was the view that i took and wanted to know what you guys had to say. I know that you guys pride your cars as much as i do and that whats CLUB COBRA is all about.

If your confused, i'm an Australain working and living in Luxembourg, my family live in Australia and thats where i grew up.

Enjoy my friends,

Skippy.
