Cool More Shots from Goodwood 2003

Here another picture from Goodwood 2003 F.O.S. A Beautiful side shot of what we think is CSX3187.

Cool

Here is (Gentleman) Jack Sears in front of his Ford Galaxie he still owns since he raced in the 60s. He is the only racing driver to have raced all three variations of the Cobra Coupe. The Shelby entry , The A.C. Le Mans entry and the Willment.

Paul..we may have to re-think that guess that is was CSX3187.

Last pics of that car have it "S/C-ized", with hood scoop and side pipes. This car you saw is pure street.

Also checked 3188; that also had sidepipes... plus different license tag numbers.

O.K. Ron perhaps when we find out the owner we might be able to put two and two together. Meanwhile here is the last picture which is Shelby Related. This structure is amazing, it is 100feet high and every now and then it had jets of water coming out to simulate rain. Just like at the finish of the Le Mans 66.

Great shots, Paul! Boy, Lord March does know how to throw a garden party. If I had a race in my driveway the top speed would be about 8 m.p.h. and the winner would be the one who could stop before going through my garage door.

Here is a thread discussing the display with the guy who built it. Hard to beleive those are full size cars they drained the fluids out of

Cool

Hi guys, just got back from holiday and amongst the bills and junk was an interesting letter. This is an update of the three cobras that were at Goodwood. A couple of weeks ago i wrote a letter to Robin Stainer who is Cobra Registrar for the A.C. Owners club (im not a member). I asked him if he had any info of these cars. He replied with the following.
The Cobra Daytona ...CSX2601
Yellow Cobra ... Owned by Bill Bridges COB 6044. Also owns "Hairy Canary" CSX2151 which is currently dismantled.
Red 427 CSX3284. Hope this helps.
