Kirkham is at it again.
Fellow Car Nuts:
Kirkham's latest. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2425302421 Enjoy, as always, there is NO RESERVE and we will sell to the highest bidder...just ask SFCJ! There will be more as we are doing some "spring cleaning" around here. There are strange projects and test cars/parts we will be putting on e-bay very soon as we are now done with them. There very well may be some great deals to be had. David :) :) :) |

Extras: Jag differential (installed) $2000 1/2 shafts (installed) $750 Radiator (installed, your choice 289/427) $500 Throttle linkage (installed, lots of heim joints/single 4bbl) $150 That is ALL this car needs to be a complete roller. Could be ready for delivery within a week of the close of the sale. Would make a nice matching bookend for your collection. David :) :) :) |
John, I'll lay off while your bidding, but when you quit, that babies mine!(Ebay ID is SFCJ8, I haven't bid yet).
|
You should reconsider
You know Jim, you really need a big block style car! This car you HAVE ALREADY can be anything you want, you can even slip in a big block and play sleeper. If I remember right you were doing a version of a sleeper with a Rousch 408 or something like that. Did you get any bites from that thread you dangled at ffcobra?
|
John, no takers. I couldn't resist putting it out there. Must be the horse trader in me.
I'm going with the roush 402. I haven't got around to ordering it yet. I'll be done with the new house around mid September and then I'll focus on the car. |
If you are into some self-help garage therapy.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2425572772 David:) :) :) |
Now David!
You know I have Hybrid fever, how is this going to help?**)
|
Hey David,
What does it take to sand the body down to nice bare aluminum specs (similar to the two Team Jenny cars but without the stripes)???? Just figured I would ask.............. Bill S. |
Bill,
Depending on how good you are and how nice you want it to be...probably 100-200 hours. John, Hybrid fever...no known cure. Building the car brings temporary relief. Driving the car brings a longer lasting relief. We have a 289 FIA body with the tubes in it already wrapped. I ordered a frame from Poland and it is now on the water...will arrive in 4 weeks or so. I suggest we talk about you putting the 289 body on the 427 frame I just ordered. You can do the welding, install the panels etc...and save lots of dough. We have 4 of these in stock right now. (The other 3 are 427's) Bad experiment on our part makes for great savings on yours. Let me know David:) :) :) |
Stay tuned for more savings.
David :) :) :) |
