The Shelby challenge cars run 351s and they are flat out rockets! If I were to build one as a track only car and I was on a limited budget, which would definitely be the case, I'd go for a built up 351. A lot cheaper to repair than the FEs and the initial outlay is pretty low. The final result however, is blistering fast!
