Shell Valley Coilover Help Please

Hey guys...

I ordered my rear coilovers today...I'm going to the bolt store tomorrow to get the correct fasteners. In the manual, it says the frame mount for the coilover shock is 5/8". However, I tried to stick a 5/8" bolt that I have in there...that hole is not 5/8". Do the coilovers come with 5/8" bushings, or are they 1/2"? Basically I need to know whether to get small bolts, or open the frame holes out a little...

I have a Midstates Classic with Aldan Eagle coil overs. They have a 1/2 inch bolt. Hope this helps.

Thanks Super...I looked in the parts catalog...it says they come with 1/2" and 5/8" bushings, so I'll just stick with the 1/2". It should be plenty.

I have a Shell Valley too, and my bolt size is 1/2" so hopefully that will be correct

You may have an older version of the manual, since SV has changed some design items over time. Mine are 5/8" and setup for bushings. You can also order your coil-overs with 1/2" rod ends.
