More photos of the Superformance Coupe. This was taken as it was being readied for Reno Hot August Nights. This angle shows a pre production wheel with dark grey centers and a polished lip.

Here are some of my photos of the SPF Coupe in Ross, Ohio at Dynamic Motorsports while the car was beding readied to ship to Reno for Hot August Nights.

Notice the two treatments of the wheels in their preproduction form. Dark grey centers or white centers with polished lips.

Wow,

That is one beautiful car! It is an almost perfect art form. If I were going to buy one, I'd ask three questions:

1. Does the third brake light have to be so large? A few LEDs lined up along the edge would do and look much less obvious.

2. Does the rear window have to be held down with screws/rivets? Can't it be attached invisably?

3. Why do the rear window corners have to be square on such a curvaceous creation?

This near perfection, why stop short?

Paul

What will the interior hold?

i.e.will big and fat people fit!

Otherwise I can nver have one (I could lose weight but not height)

I think I may need one...

Beautiful car--congrats to Peter Brock and Jimmy Price!

David

...of course I would have to put an aluminum body on it...

It's sure pretty, but I can't help thinking it would look more"right" with smaller wheels. Neither of those treatments does the job , somehow.

Allen,

My understanding of the design was not to completely replicate the originals look.

One beautiful car--white wheels on a white car ala the # 56 Simon/Schelssinger car, though

OK--I'm sold--SPF 427 Cobra coming on the market

Absolutely my favorite "vintage" looking car--I want one
