Rumor Mill Confirmed--Slabside

Fellow Car Nuts:

Kirkham Motorsports policy is to not discuss projects which are in the works as they invariably take way more time than you ever dream to finish.

Nevertheless, as I have been asked SOOOOO many times...

We have finished, and delivered, the first 289 Slabside.

Yes, we are now currently producing the 289 Street car...AKA Slabside.

I am sorry we don't have any pictures to post, as our friends from across the pond have laid dibs on the first 5 cars. (Somehow they even ursurped the first car from my wife). We delivered the first slabside and I myself have not even seen the finished car yet. (I have, of course, seen the tooling, dies, and the car in progress.)

I can, however, post a picture of the new knock-offs. I hope Jamo doesn't see them or he will try to put them on his car. The knock-offs, incidently, are made in England by the original manufacturer.
