My visit to Goodwood Revival 2003
Well what a fantastic time my son and i had at Goodwood. We arrived quite early and made our way to the paddock and met up with the Ol Yeller Team. I had a nice chat with Cal Metal (Dan) and Phil Remington and Jeff Karnitz (CC member) . Its great to talk about a shared interest, i took a book with me which Phil Remington kindly signed. Ernie Nagamatsu and his wife were very friendly and let me sit in Ol Yeller. Another clubcobra member was there too, Pdrouss . Whilst talking there is all those fabulous cars surrounding us and old planes flying overhead.
We had a look around the pits and drooled over the Scarabs. After watching some races there was a tribute to Motorcycle legend Barry Sheene. Britains former F1 commentator said a moving piece about the star.
Next up the T.T. ,Six Cobras were entered but it was,nt there day. Of all the races that was the most exciting though.
I shall be posting some pictures over the next couple of days, i did,nt take many, im useless with a camera. Thanks again to the Ol Yeller team for the goodies for my son and making our day complete.
Heres one for now as i ,ve got to go to work.

Great shots, Paul! Nice to see you exposing your son to the "illness". I'm glad you got to meet Phil--he's a great guy. In fact, he almost makes up for having to put up with Cal.

Hi,
Very nice pics ! I am taken with the #2 silver cobra,fabulous !
The silver Lemans hardtop cobra #2 looks like it has a flat windshield instead of a curved one ,especially where it joins the roof, is that an optical illusion on my part or is the windshield flat ?
do you have any more pics of it?
