Tanks...Chiperb
I wonder why Speedchannel dosn't list its programs more accessibly! They're not in TV Guide or even local newspapers.

Chiperb
Thanks for the reminder--thought it was well worth viewing--I just can't fathom that these owners race these rare cars--would love to see it some day in person

"ain't no fakes"
Then he quickly said 'replicas'. Isn't this the same commentator that bought the alfa to the historics and had it shipped there only to have the front wheel fall off!
I would LOVE to go to the historics one of these days.

I was really disappointed in the coverage. The feature race of the whole weekend was the one involving the GT40s. It also had three or four 427s including Dick Smith's and the Flip Top. Total coverage of that race was about three minutes, including Alain de Cadenet's vignette on a 250LM Ferrari. There was no mention of Smith's blown engine, the oildown of the track, the resulting damage to the Flip Top, no discussion of the 427 Cobras at all, in fact, and precious little on-track action for the race. There are a lot of race groups at the MHR but it was a two-hour program, after all. I hope their Goodwood Revival coverage is better.

I agree with snakeeyes...could've done without the Ford Cortina coverage.
