Look at this way...in a couple of years, the Porsche will be dated and surpassed. One of the reasons I like having the Cobra as my "exotic" is that it stays the same...a classic. There are certainly other cars with the same appeal, such a Cdriver's Vette.
Same price range, I'd go find a used Challange 360 Modena. I like Porsches. They are extremely competent, but they are a bit, shall we say, sterile from a passion standpoint.
