Default OH HE!! NO!

Evan you can't bail on us!

If I could only own one car instead of two I would go the Porsche route. But since I can have two cars, my second would be the Cobra.

Yeah: I have been contemplating the change. Just a straight 996TT.

Nice Artic silver one I have in my sights. But the CSX must go if I do.

Decisions decisions.

Both have their pluses and minuses.

Hmmm. What to do. What to do!

Okey dokey Evan, let's get down to it. What are you driving on a daily basis?

You could lease a 911 through the firm and keep the CSX. You won't have much luck pushing the Twin Turbo model on the IRS, but a regular 911, or even a Cab would work. You could even go AWD in your neck of the woods. Gives you a Porsche, just not the TT. Join a club and take her on the track.

I used to "race" (autoX/open track) my firm-leased Vette. It's great getting extra wheels and track tires and writing them off as winter/summer tires (if I can do that in Fresno, anybody can). Repairs, etc. are either warrantied or on the firm as a write-off.

Since I think an RS6 would be pushing it, I'll be looking at 911s or ZO6s as my company car in another year or so.

Have your cake, eat it and what the he!!--have a second helping.

Jamo: I'll probably keep the CSX in the end. It was just a thought. I like the TT but in the end the CSX is more unique and in the end will always be a classic.

Thanks.

Default Phew!

Had me going there for a while Evan. Now that the feet are back on the ground, how can a new car be a classic?

Just pulling your chain pal. I like Jamo's solution. Sounds good to me.

Thumbs up

I just wanted to know what you guys thought when comparing the two cars.

In the end, again, when I look at the Cobra I just can't get myself to part with it.

I appreciate the input you guys gave. Some very good insight and thoughts. In the end I agree with the majority here. The Cobra is a keeper.

Thanks.

You want Retro, get a Morgan Plus 8. Just about as primative as our replicas are.
