Be careful... I think that I saw those girls around about 30 years ago - they could be 'replicas'

Default Eleanor Replica's

When the Shelby show was in Tulsa this year I saw two of these Eleanor Replica cars at Hallett (not racing but on display). I looked at them very carefully and they were basically brand new cars and prepared extremely well. I don't recall seeing those particular girls with the cars. I do recall seeing some other fine young ladies near the display...I don't think they were replica's, at least not all of them.

Boy that has got to have CS really pissed. People are already making and selling replicas of the GT500E before the "real ones" have really even hit the market yet.

Hmmm... this "Eleanor" has a '1967 Mustang VIN, it was not manufactured by Sanderson Sale/Unique Perfiormance so it won't be in the SAAC Registry --- which means: its a Replica of a Replica!!

Clois-
Real or replicas doesn't matter. They all look good. But a replica will never feel quite like a real one though

Yeah, but at least it has a 428 instead of the 302 in the Real 500E's.

Colorado Cobra,

The question is: Is it REAL or is it PLASTIC? It looks REAL to me.

Look at the Shelby Data Plate on the fender wall. This car will show up somewhere my friend in somebodys garage and be represented as a Shelby. This will happen well before any of these cars are included in the SAAC Registry. For the kind of money these things are being advertised for it is just a matter of time before the real replicas vs the fake replicas take on a new meaning. The ones that have been tauted as selling for big dollars have exceeded what the actual "Real" Shelby Mustangs are selling. The irony of it is that the car never existed outside of Hollywood and Shelby had absolutly nothing to do with the creation of the car other than his name. The girls on the other hand are probably not replicas and would make any car look good even my Toyota Camry. If they were included I would bid.
